I have passed part one of my black belt grading. I am delighted and relieved in equal measure.Now it's continual assessment for four months followed by a written paper in April with continual assessment for another four months afterwards. If all goes well I could be wearing my black belt in August. If it doesn't I have to start the whole process again from scratch.
There's plenty more hard work ahead and I need to do some work in a few areas but I'm on my way. And very happy about it.
